60's Mustang Insurance Question

Anybody out there own an old mustang from the 60's thats under 21?

if you could let me know how much you pay for insurance and what kind you have on it, i'd appreciate it

i am seriously, seriously considering it. i will definitely have enough when i get back from the summer. i'm trying to con my grandma into paying for my insurance right now

it actually might be cheaper than you think, because value goes down in cars, i mean i know its still a classic mustang, but it might not be that expensive

im kind of in your same boat man, i might be getting a '70 Chevy Nova SS this summer, i know its gonna suck on gas, and im guessing the insurance is gonna kick my ass, but god its sexy. I might get an STi instead though im not sure

ok, i'm done

but yeah i'm not sure. I have a friend who has an old dodge aspen, and he pays 2400 a year for just liability... :(

my guess is not too much, its a classic , which generally has minimal insurance and sould be fairly cheap.

Just call a couple insurance agents. There are so many factors that even if someone told you a price, it may not be close to what you'd pay. Just call and ask for a quote. I was 20 last year and i called around to get motorcycle insurance. No big deal.

just took your advice and talked to someone from Geico,

its actually not as bad as i thought it would be, 728 dollars or so for a six month premium... about 141 a month, so not terribly ass raping....

Talk to more than just Geico though. I called like 4 places and they varied a lot on the bike. Ended up getting 750 a year. One place wanted 1500.

gonna differ from region to region/company to company. Will also depend on wether its a 4 banger or 6 or 8. Praying its an 8 haha

Are you gonna driving it in the winter? I hope not. If this is gonna be a nice weather car, you can get insurance only for the months that you are going to drive it.

dude first your going to have to wry buy the mustang, there going for a pritty penny these days also it be worth saving up till you 25, cause in canada insurance companys ither jak it way up or wont insure you on muscle car untill your 25,

or primary driver on it. also are insurance company just deals with classics and with me on the policy they wouldent insure the two cars even with my bro but as soon as i turn 25 im allowws to drive them IM SO STOKED...... 3 more years

state farm, TD insurance, Cooperators we got quots from and the all declined us because he wanted to put me under it. but my dad has them under silver wheels inusurance company cheaper and i can drive em once i turn 25
