I'm building a rail for this summer and had a quastion about the supports on the side so it wont fall over. Are supports in the middle really necesary? would it be unstable how it is now? I'm planning to make it 10 feet long
i mean if you are only having a 10 foot rail you should be fine. just dont make those triangles on the end so large cause you dont want skis going through them. its bad news
you will want small triangles with the smallest possible hole. If you dont have the triangles the rail will tip over side to side after a while. you have to look at the long-run of the rail. you want it to last not fall over in 2 days
