Record for broken skis?

I rode the salomon suspect for a majority of the season.
hands down, best ski i have ever ridden...
I also have heard a TON about their skis breaking this year, and encountered my own problem this year at a comp....
Nothing against Salomon, at all, 100% favorite skis out there..Here are some pics of what happened..

i hope ur kidding...i would much rather have a medocure ski that lasts 3 years than a good ski that lasts less than one.

water ramping fucks skis. one of my homies went through like 15+ pairs this summer on the steamboat ramps. ive broke 3 in a season... kinda sucked

I've watched my friend trash his Anthems this year. They have always been repairable, but I think hes going to have to buy a new pair next year if he wants to keep learning new tricks. His edge broke and one ski is so full of core shots that its almost not an Anthem any more.
My scratches have lasted 2 seasons now without a single problem. I just keep them waxed and make sure to avoid rocks.

let me just clarify that contrary to the thread creators view the suspect is a terrible ski. It was made as a price point park ski for shops to buy cheap and sell in mass quantities. Turns out you normally get what you pay for and the suspect is chattery as fuck, flimsy, and practically designed to snap. If you legitimatly believe that the suspect is the best ski ever you really need to try some different skis and take a venture out of the park every now and then.

So basically, fuck you, your really, really wrong on this one.

agreed, the ski has plenty pop, and a really low swing weight. But the top sheet chips like a bitch. I literally have no laminate in contact with the sidewall anymore.

if you dont have bubbles under the water, it can be a hell of a lot more stress than snow on your skis. also, water ramp skis are usually pretty beat to begin with

ya that makes the most sense. you can buy like 1990s race skis from the thrift store for like 6 bucks with bindings so just buy those whenever your skis break for waterramps

I'm thinking about trying to break the world record for speed skiing on asphault they set on Nitro Circus.  Its only 35mph and I've gone almost 45mph on a tray from McDonalds being pulled behind a car so I think I can do it.

If it doesn't work I'll probably end up with a picture like OP's.  Except I'll probably try it on old 70's straight skis if I do so I don't fuck up my only twins.
