Bump ski = short, skinny, and NOODLY.
I have my Bacons at -3 from center and love them. I ski switch alot and pretty much am restricted to NE for powder, so mounting them at rec. seemed a bit much. I'm also 5'10", so didn't feel like I needed the extra length.
I skied park on them after my other skis broke, and they were fun. Great for butters and simple rails and boxes. That said, anything remotely technical or over a 540 in the park will be difficult because of the size. In short, play around between rec and core center depending on preferance and size, but for pity's sake, you don't need another center mounted ski.
