You can play ruby on most DS's except the newest ones.

Ruby sucks though I hated gen 3 pokemon.

Get a ds with super mario and buy diamond/pearl or platinum

i think im just gonna buy the original ds its alot cheaper i LOVE super mario on ds its easily one of the best games ive ever played!!!
