BINDINGS? +++K

okay, so im getting some armada ar6's for 60% hardpacked/groomers and 40% park. im an advanced skier that is 5 foot 5 and about 110 pounds. i need some bindings to go with them of course but im not sure which ones...fks 120, marker griffons, look px12's, sas 120's, 4frnt deadbolts. please help..also other binding suggestions are welcomed. and a reason for a reccomended binding would be nice. +++K

i'm the same size as you but i ski all park and i have the rossi sas 100s and they work well. i have the DIN on 8 though so the 120s would probably be good too. and i don't think you could go wrong with the griffons either.

I've had experience with the px12 and the griffen. Both are great bindings durability and performance wise. Can't go wrong either way. But the griffen is WAY lighter and can really help lighten up your set-up. Might be an important thing since youre not a big guy.

yes the griffen is lighter, but it is also more expensive. you can find new px12s for 100 this time of year. or buy some fks 120s and you will be set

whats the difference between..say a more park origented binding like the griffon and the racing binding like the fks. will the fks still do well in the park and how much heavier is it since its like all metal?

Do NOT get either of those if you plan on skiing park. Any of the other bindings you mentioned would be fine though. Those Markers tend to fall apart when they get abused.

my friend has the ar6 wit jesters mounted on his..his skis are hella light..but griffens prob would be good for u to...i have the px12 jibs and they are durable as fuck..but are a little heavier...so u can go lightweight bindings or heavier bindings but are durable as hell...

so i think its going to be either the fks or the griffons...proboly the griffs because they are rediculously light and im not super aggresive in the park so the durability will be fine....

Ive skied the griffons prettty hard, they have done awesome and are super light. Bindings are really only different because of weight and durability. Its definitely worth it to go with the griffons.

PX12 or the FKS120, even the older pivot heel p12 would all be a great choice.

They are all proven and effective bindings.
Slight brake tweakage needed, thats all.

i got my griffons like a month and a half ago and they were only 150 so you should be able to find them somewherre around there

I would say for your weight Salomon STH 12 or Salomon STH 14's. I have Salomon STH 16's and I love them =.

I have Rossi Axial 2 140 Ti Pros and they stand up to some pretty aggressive park use, but Im regretting not getting the Rossi FKS, go with those. Plus its a great deal for $120.

Do NOT!!!!! get those, i had a pair of the 12.0s and they sucked in the park because they are not meant for a person who rides switch. i popped out of them riding switch from leaning to far forward to grab the tips while i was on the snow.

ok so its griffons or fks..not sure if i want a pivot heel so im leaning toward the griff's. also i need a light binding because im freaking 110 pounds and it doesnt need to be a bomber construction because im not intense park rider

I got griffons for my bents, but on the box it says min weight is 130 pounds for a skier.  You might want to take that into consideration

I have a pair of marker griffons on my t-halls. I was just on sierrasnowboard.com and they have the griffons for $200 and if you look around you might find them cheaper. I just love my griffons, they are built solid and really hold up  well and i have never prereleased.
