I used to work at a hardware store and someone asked me once if we carried organic cow manure... is there a such thing as non organic cow manure? haha any other good ones?

i work at a go kart place and you have to wear helmets when you go on. anyway this lady is about to put a helmet on her kid and looks up at me and says.

oh wait...he has lice can he still ride?

felt pretty bad telling a little kid he couldnt ride go karts unless he had his own helmet.

i was hanging out at my shop and this lady came in asking for an avalanche beacon so i asked her if she was gonna be doing some bc skiing and she replies:
"we're headed up to mt snow for the weekend and with all the avalanches recently we want to be safe"

Not retail, but I work at a rock climbing gyms and we require you to take a test to show us you can belay and tie the knots to get certified.

I have people come up to me saying they can do it, get their shit on, tell me they're ready, and I look down and their harness is on backwards.

their is a ton of shit that people say- most of the time trying to haggle price and they get all pissed off when we tell them no. -or tyring to use their Circuit City coupons in our store(dumb)

The guy that pissed me off the most though was this one dude.


I was chilling at work one night and I was on the phone with a customer. As soon as I hung up the phone rung again - which meant that he was on hold. I picked it up and Im like"Ryan in home theatre"- the guy goes

"finally- Ive been on hold for twenty min (it was 2:30 the phone tells you how long) I need to know if you have this reciever in stock. It's an Onkyo reciever. "

Im like "sir we don't sell that brand here."

He goes" Jeez i sure am gonna miss Circuit City, you guys are a bunch of fuckin retards"

I am in a pissed mood cause im the only guy workin tonight, so I go"Why don't you go choke on a dick asshole"

He flips absolute shit" Im gonna come in their and kikc your ass, what the fucks your name?"

Im like "its Jessie, ill be here you bitch"

He starts screaming and I hang up. Tell my manager. Hes like next time dont curse, but your good though.

About 45 min later this tiny mexican dude comes flyin in the store. He comes flying over to home theatre and hes like wheres Jessie

Im like there is no Jessie that works here, why can I help you with something?

He starts running aorund the store yelling at people to show them their nametags- The manager goes over the walkie for everyone to take their tags off. We all do and he goes apeshit- screaming that its his right as an American ot see our nametags. My boss calls the cops and tells him to leave.He won't leave and starts tipping shit over- the whole time everyone is just staring-  hes screaming- the cops come and arrest his ass- fuckin legit- I came home and told my mom and she got scared and said "your goin to live with your auntie and uncle in Bel-Air. "-

i work at a gas station     ( im 13 and my mom owns it)       guy comes in im working the register asks        do u seel gas at this hour     keep in mind its about 7:30 8 ish PM and the guys like 70      i didnt no wat to say so i like laughed quiet and said ya thats it and he walked out and pumped his gas

but the one i get all teh time is        i think ur a little yougn to be working              or i dont want u to ring this up for me and they make me get some1 else to do it

people can be really stupid

cows are fed the most disgusting shit, hay is a luxury for organic dairy cows. most beef cows that mcdonalds and shit owns are fed ground up slop with god knows what in it just so they get fat before they're slaughtered. you really wouldn't want to know what kind of stuff they feed cows

a lot of cows these days are raised on what ever is cheapest. they are fed pellet that is not organic and if a cow were free range on a farm, and the farm uses any pesticides at all, the grass is said to be non organic and there fore the cow wouldn't be.
not trying to get into too much detail or start a fight. but i worked at a local dairy and there struggle to say organic was amazing

and since i work in a hospital/ambulance i get patients or family/friends of patients all the time who ask us to do things incompatible with life.

like, can we shock their sleepy grandfather with the defibrillator to wake him up because we are worried he is so lethargic.

or can i immediately please do CPR on somebody who FAINTED....

i dunno, i know a lot of people are not super familiar with medicine, but there are some things that just seem like common sense to me.

how do you tihnk organic milk is made?

you have to feed organic crop to cows so their bodies are infested with all the other shit lots feed them. its way more complex then just feeding cows hay from any field

thought of another one. we picked up this dirtbiker that had a compound fracture of his left lower leg, it was sticking like 90 degrees sideways, and he kept insisting that i just rip it off, he even went so far as to compare it to a hangnail.

retard had his leg surgically repaired and was fine in like 3 months.

So when I worked at the theater, we had a power outage one day. No biggie because it was in the middle of the day on a Friday, not too many people there, give some refunds and coupons so all is good.

Later that day, the things that say what auditorium it is and which movie is in each one are still not working. So we sell tickets anyways, and put on paper signs saying which auditorium is which. Everything would have been fine, because I was ripping tickets and giving directions to which theater to go to also, but some little shits switched the paper signs. So we had people all over the place in the wrong theater. Not cool...

Then this old lady walks out and starts complaining to me, my movie hasn't started blah blah blah. So I ask her, are you sure your in the right theater? She flips a bitch...YEAH IM IN THE RIGHT THEATER, I'M IN THE ONE YOU TOLD ME TO GO TO. So I'm just like okay, let me come to your theater and we will see what is wrong.

She was in the wrong theater, the one she was supposed to be in is really easy to miss but still...

The movie is maybe 5 minutes in, and this lady starts yelling at me, YOU TOLD ME THE WRONG THEATER I  MISSED MY MOVIE BLAH BLAH BLAH. I just tell her we will refund her money and give her a free pass. She was still yelling at me. I DON"T HAVE TIME TO COME BACK, I'M TOO FUCKING BUSY.

So I just say whatever and walk away, she goes walking out the lobby and she stops to say to my manager "I'll never come back here again." He responds, "Cool story you cunt licker, where are you going to go see movies then, are corporation owns all the theaters in the area so have fun living your lonely ass life."

I used to work at a dollar store. Almost every day someone would ask how much something would cost. I would just be like "Really? It's a dollar store, cmon!" And sometimes there'd be smart asses who would come up with an armful of stuff and say "Everything's $1, right? So I get all of this for a $1, right?" Fucking idiots....

I used to work at Tim Hortons. One night I'm working in the drive thru and some lady drives in and I'm talking to her with the headset.

"Hi, welcome to Tim Hortons, what can I get for you?"

"Just some large fries."

"Sorry, we don't sell fries."

"Well then what do you have?"

"We're more of a coffee and donuts place, and we have sandwiches and soups"

and then I hear another voice, it sounds like a 10 year old boy with a really whiny tone.

"MOMMY, I WANT SOME FUCKING FRIES!!!"

So the car pulls up to the window and there's 2 people inside. A 50ish year old lady and a fat 30ish year old guy with a moustache. I start to laugh when I realise the voice sounding like a 10 year old was coming out of the guy.

They don't order anything and They both yell at us when the pass the window and floor it out of the drive thru. A piece of gravel flies up and brakes the window so the manager calls the cops on them.




Oooh, and I had a bearded lady come in once and order a dozen donuts. She had a legit 2 inch long, kinda thin, blond beard. It was gnarly. I kept laughing into my shoulder while she picked the donuts. She didn't look amused.



Oooh, and a gnarly biker dude, with handlebars, bandana, leather, everything. He pulls off his leather jacket and he's wearing a Carrie Underwood World Tour 2007 shirt. I laughed my head off.

i worked at a bike shop until the ski season came along, so november, and its clearly labeled on our signs outside that we're a bike and ski shop.

i had so many people come in and ask for: golf stuff, footballs, basketballs, rowing gear?, rollerblades.... and others that i cant quite remember.

were a specialized store, we sell what we say we sell... if you're smart enough youd realize that bikes and skis are all we sell.

I work at a local Rexall and there was this REALLY REALLY pissy lady who kept asking for the manager cause the cashier wouldn't refund her something. The manager comes up and she starts yelling at him and shit and he told her to go fuck herself and then he walked away. He got fired but he was the coolest boss I have had yet.

i used to sell cell phones and I had an old lady come in one time bitching because no one could ever reach her on her cell phone. she could turn it on and call people just fine but whenever someone tried calling her the phone never rang. after a little prodding I learn that she was powering the phone off and on every time she used. i had to explain to her that she had to leave it turned on all of the time in order for people to be able to reach her.

yeah, i kinda understand. im not sure what kind of shock you are talking about, but if you are talking about being temporarily insane because of a serious injury, i get it.

the thing is, is that we see tons of people who handle things awesome, even if they are hurt really bad (tanner after his fall. kinda funny, but yeah, he handled it decent). at no point do i understand someone insist that i rip off their badly broken leg. i think people let TV dictate their "appropriate" reactions sometimes.

i work at a little caesars...people ask for shit the weirdest ways....

"can i have a cheese and pepperoni pizza" then they get all flustered when i get them two pizzas. the pizza comes with cheese dumbass.

i dunno i get some really ridiculous customers.

this one guy like flipped a shit on me because he calls in a pizza and asks me to leave it out, i make it, leave it out for like half an hour, then im like uhh alright and put it in the warmer cause im not gonna give someone a cold pizza, he finally comes in an hour later and sees me pull it out of the warmer and starts yelling at me and takes it and storms out. i was just trying to keep his pizza hot....

whenever people ask me for anchovies i say we are all out because they are fucking gnarly to deal with and smell like shit.

so i work at a wakeboard school in the summer and im standing at the parking lot and some family rolls up in their minivan and ask where the lake is. realizing that these people have no reason to live after this point i just turn around and look at the lake and say "im really sorry but it was drained last year"
the people are too dumb to even look past me about 200 feet and look at the over full lake.

i use to work at pacsun, firstly you can see everthing in the store from the door, so this kid comes in with his mom and she asks me if we sell burton, so i show them the t-shirts, she says no the boards.   she aksy why is their a burton logo on the window. she gets mad at me  my manager who is the shit tells her she is retarted and to get out.

I used to work at Hollister (worst 4 months of my life-. We had some lady come in and start yelling at the manager and I because she couldn't find the wheelchair accessible door. The door was right next to the porch thingy that's the main entrance, and was clearly marked with a sign as well as the neon blue button. This woman is yelling at the two of us for seriously 10 minutes straight cause she had to leave her friend outside cause she couldn't get her up the steps. The woman finally walks out, after telling us that she is going to write a letter to the company and shit. Once she's gone, the manager looked at me and was just like "yea like the company's gonna care about one fucking letter". Not two minutes later, the same woman comes back in just to yell at us for another 15 minutes...it was pretty funny.
