What does Ti mean in binding terms?

Hey, im new to skiing and im about to get some bindings, but what does Ti mean? like look px12 jib ti?

titanium, means its got a titanium plate or something in the heel piece, i think. i could be wrong.

Yeah generally titanium compared to plastic or composite

Basically if something says Ti, either it is useless marketing jargon or it could be slightly stronger.

Or lighter I believe (could be wrong).  Bindings have a lot of thick, heavy metal and the ti bindings are supposed to replace some of this metal with titanium creating a stronger, lighter binding.
