Really need some help

sorry for making a repeat thread but i havent found exactly what im looking for and ive search barred and googled the shit out of this but here goes


I'm gonna be picking up some hellbents soon and i dont know whether to get the 189 or 179,

im 6' 175 lbs. and my current ski is a 183 scott mission. i know the 179's run about 185 but i have heard they aren't great going down steeps due to the soft tail but the 189 handles it better. i like to ski steep and drop cliffs but i also really like skiing the trees. Im really torn between the two sizes, any info would be greatly appreciated

if i were 6' i would rock the 179..but if u not doin any park. go 189 shuoldnt make much of a difference

yes it will. its 10 cm. i would agree to go with the 179 makes more sence if you like skiing trees.

I think you'll appreciate the stability of the 189, especially if you're gonna mount them forward of recommended.

well  hes 6 foot
thts roughly around 183..
ur right inbetween 179 and 189
and i would think most ppl ski a couple cm
bigger.. 5 cm not much of a difference
u could prob ski both and be fine

You have about a metre of contact area, so theyu will ski super short.. i'd go 189 if you are a confident skier
