so i dont ride lines... but i picked up a pair this year because I didnt have much to spend on skis and i got hooked up with a pair of 09 178cm for next to nothing.
I was all about super soft soft skis but i've made the conclusion that these skis are worthless for anything but balancing down pieces of metal . I used to have t halls back in the day and even those put up with jumps and high speeds pretty well. Is there anyone who can actually bomb the mountain well and throw down on jumps with them?
Maybe its just the fact i suck but too many times i find myself landing switch or even regular stomped in slightly uneven landings to have the ski completely noodle on me and resulting in double backflip scorpia yardsale when a normal ski would probably of let me ride out fine.
they are great for urban , ill give them that but im forced to get a new pair for Mt hood this summer now if i actually want to hit jumps
