Replying to Skullcandy Warranty?

How is the Skullcandy warranty? what i mean is how fast do they get the new headphones back out to you, convenience, is it worth it etc.
I got a free pair of icons from Jib academy and they broke within the first week. it wasnt from anything aggressive, but it get all distorted if you slightly move the part where the plug meets the cord.
do you think i could warranty a free pair of headphones?
and i know i will get a few d bags telling me just to buy new ones,
but why should i if i can get a new pair for free.
