same here. both of my friends won their weight division in all-states 2 years running. One of them is now in the Navy Seal program haha

yea, not saying the navy is a bad thing, but as far as i know, you really cant make a future out of wrestling. i know nothing about it, so i could be wrong.

well, i don't know any super famous. but like if you appriciate their sport, you would appreciate them

Ned Bowen - (best basketball, football, and lacrosse player to go through our highschool) played lacrosse at UVA and played pros

Matt Murry - Yale Football

Terrance Higgins - Navy Lacrosse

Sean O'Brien - Virginia Tech Baseball, could have went pros

true, unless your going into fitness which wrestling wouldn't hurt. not saying you need to know how to wrestle to go into a fitness career but you get the point.

yea,i feel ya. wrestling takes so much discipline and stuff, like to stay a certain weight, get bufff, idk, its crazy the stuff wrestlers do.

I just could never not eat for a day and then go running for 8 miles to lose 5 pounds for a match the next day. its crazy.

our high school was ridiculous at wrestling.  They were state champions all 4 years while I was there, and consistently placed people in the top 10 at nationals.

Our grade had 2 d1 baseball players, 2 d1 wrestlers and a couple d3 football and lacrosse players.

The grade above us had 4 d1 soccer players, d1 lacrosse player, d1 football player, and some more d3 lacrosse football and soccer players.

This is all coming from a school that has a about 60 people per graduating class.

not as ports name but Oliver Stone. And Robert Frost taught an english elective for a semester. My school has some incredible history, i dont like it but some incredible people have been though the same halls i walk everyday and its kind of a cool thought. /claim

Sean Hill - NHL player   Phil Verchota - 1980 Miracle on Ice team   Brett Hull went to school in the town but not sure which school.   Mason and Molly Aguirre.    Max Tardy will be D1 next year for hockey. couple others bu thse are the major ones.
