Help: My Mini DV tape is fucked up

I dropped it, the footage is just barely messed up every few seconds. Is there any way to fix it myself? It is pretty important to me so, is there somewhere I can send it to be repaired/uploaded for a fee?

Sorry man. If the tape plays, but the footage isn't clean there's nothing you can do to get the damaged data back. If it got dirty, dont keep trying to play it-you'll damage your camera.

fucking amazing I had like a dozen people/companies tell me it wasn't possible, I have to edit some stuff out but it at least got it onto my computer
