so ive got a habit of stepping on to urban-style rails, and whenever theres a decent sized urban, i can only step on. needless to say, it looks like shit and kinda messes me up for whatever else i want to do on the rail. when i do manage not to step on, i pop all akward and barely make it on.
what are some tips for getting on urbans the right way (not stepping on)?
Most people (myself included) get the urge to step on when they don't have enough speed. Either practice popping properly onto park rails going really slowly, or build a bigger drop in.
pretend you skis are a skateboard and you ollying them, lean back a little just with like your ankles and pop the skis up in an olly and keep/get you chest/shoulders/head up over the rail looking where your going
