Replying to Romantic movies ruining relationships?

Do you think that Romantic movies are making it harder for us guys to get girls. me and my friend were having an argument today how romantic movies are ruining relationships with girls cause they see movies like the note book, and titanic and they think that all guys should be like the boys in those movies. and he said that all guys should be like the guys in those movies and thats how we should act. what do u think?
