Romantic movies ruining relationships?

Do you think that Romantic movies are making it harder for us guys to get girls. me and my friend were having an argument today how romantic movies are ruining relationships with girls cause they see movies like the note book, and titanic and they think that all guys should be like the boys in those movies. and he said that all guys should be like the guys in those movies and thats how we should act. what do u think?

i can't say that turns me off from the book at all.. its still a great book haha

but i dont think it matters what happens in movies.. girls know its all fake and half of it would never happen in real life...we just wish it could

that, and i'll guarantee ya (especially in this age) if a guy tried anything in the neighborhood of what those guys did (titanic and notebook) you'd more than likely just be really creeped out and turned off.  because that's not how it works.  at all.

People say chivalry is dead... to a large part, that is true. Not always, but in the scope that girls envision, it certainly can be. Movies definitely don't help that mindset.

I don't know about you guys...but i'm not expecting anything like from the notebook. And im pretty sure i'm not looking for that either. My idea of a romantic movie is going skiing with my boyfriend (if i had one), filming each other, and making an edit and then watching it in a slopeside house, preferably in the outside hot tub, on the big screen flat screen.

Its worse when they base it of shows like laguna beach or the hills or that new one. I once had a girl compare our relationship to a relationship on the hills, it just made me realize how dumb girls can get.
