Balance on boxes

Help me out.

Soon as I go sideways with any sense of real speed on a box things get too buttery and the ground falls beneath me.

Where am I going wrong?

you are probably doing more of the hockey stop action where you push with your skies against the snow to make you stop instead of centering your weight over your skies.  don't lean back at all try to put a little more weight on the front ski so that the skies sit flat on the box, not on the edges.  Biggest hint there is DON'T LEAN BACK.

Weight forward, bend ze knees, widen your stance, keep your eyes locked on the end of the box

Main thing is keep your weight more on the downhill ski than what you are doing at the moment

whatever you do, keep both skis flat on the box.

One thing to try to focus on is really poping up to spin onto the box (90 deg at first). I've always found I slide things cleaner and with more control/style if I really pop and stomp onto the box.
