East Coast Bristol park bull

Was it me or was the park this year the worst it has been in say what 4 or 5 years?! It doesn't help the snowsports manager is a douche and i know the park manager left, but anyway we can make suggestions or even help with the park so it doesn't blow next year? I mean the year i really get into park it sucks horribley. I just couldn't believe they only set up one booter not to mention a sketchy ass one when there was clearly room for 1 or even 2 more. I mean come on. Someone with good park managing exp. please move to bristol and take over. Okay im done ranting.

THe park was pretty bad, especially the pipe, it was to big and you could barely get enough speed to get out of the pipe, the most I could crank out was a 3. The rails were not atrocious though I really liked the rainbow bow when it was on the roller.

Deffinetly fell apart. It is really sad that there is that many amazing features there and shit just isn't right.
If Max Carey was president we wouldn't have this problem.

Yeah actually i did like the rainbow set up. But yeah the pipe is just stupid and usually the top 3 feet are solid ice too and it has such a terrible lip, I just hope they set up more booters and maybe another bigger hip transfer like there has been before.

I was stunned that they had only one cheese wedge. I'm not all about jumps but it was one and it wasn't very large.

Bristol was such a disappointment.
we went on our march break, coming from Southern Ontario, hoping to get some decent park.
it was sooo shit compared to last year. they had one park staff that didnt do shit,
and 4 features in the big park
i was pretty pissed.

Did anyone find some of the feature just worthless, like that corkscrew think and the tire jib, I mean atleast put the tire on a roller you can hand drag over.

Yeah the tire was so pointless, and i was really dissapointed that the only long rail there got broken early season and they just set it on the side the whole year and didn't take enough time just to replace the wood support. Also they took a while to get the park actually set up and it was only fully set up for like a month and a half

haha one day i saw the stupid park crew spend like half an hour scraping ice out between the treads of the tire. me and my buddies got a kick outta that.

the park really was horrible this year though. everything was set up so sketchy it wasn't even funny. i didn't see anyone even attempt the flat down flat rail for the last two months sfter they put that booter onto it.

Park was terrible they kept the same setup for like a month straight, the whole place has changed so much. Just the fact they wont even let us sit on the "registers" because the window broke when we all know that it was the hot dog that broke it not us sitting up there...even though im guilty of punching the window and cracking it...oops. Im so glad I dont have to ski there anymore and actually have a good park to look forward to!

haha I read the title and was expecting to see a picture of a new piston bully or something, oops. Haven't been to Bristol in a few years, sucks to hear that it's been going downhill. Hopefully they get back on track next season...

i completely agree. literally none of the rails had any landing whatsoever, it really hurt to drop off. the big jump was tiny and weird, they didnt even have the medium jump, and the little jump line was just 3 lips with a flat surface and no landing. honestly, i already wrote a letter to them complaining, the rest of you should do the same. also, if someone started a facebook group about it that wouldnt hurt. i mean, the park rats are without doubt the most loyal customers, and this year they spit in our face with that shitty park.

Okay I totally agree that was uncalled for and i'm sorry. And I know I don't know you and you don't know me. But whenever I went by and hit the feature you were hiking I never once saw you hit it, your friends acted like i sucked and was going to eat shit. one of the kids pretended to hit me in the head with ski poles countless times and you threw your hands up in the air threw your head forward and went WHAT?! But man didn't mean to piss that many people off what i say over the internet shouldnt make you angery. Once again I'm sorry.

It's gonna be most of us at Bristol peeing in the funnel. It was your choice to make the call out now you gotta face the consequence.

And probably not on the new rails and boxes. At this point, Steve Howie (total doucherrrr and very high on Bristol's management) is doing all he can to diminish the park. Because he is, in fact, a doucher. Funnel goes to him after you.

What?? I've never heard he wanted to make it into a racer hill. He couldn't, it's not steep enough an it's in a totally random spot. I heard that they wanted to move tha park to tha other side of tha mountain. But no way in hell they could put a race hill in there.

Well i didn't mean he wanted to make the park a race hill. But he wants the mountain overall to be just a racing mountain. And actually years back that hill was a racing practise hill. And yeah i have heard rumors too that it might be moved over to the other side of the mountain where the new lift is to decongest the slower side of the mountain, which im actually in facvor for if they can get a good park set up. That lift now takes to damn long for the park

I'm really not a fan of how tha race program operates. Way to many dicks that care more about themselves than anyone else, they are cocky an they expect everyone else to be. I hope tha park stays in tha same spot cause those are two prime trails for it. I have no idea what trails on the pther side are flat enough for a park. That park lift pisses me off. It's the slowest non-highspeed quad i have ever been on in my entire life.
The two park trails are so dopeeeeeee

yeah with them being so close gives you so many options and some variation, it would be sick to have a t-bar on the little cut over trail from the main quad. But if the park got moved it would be so crap and small and only one trail. and no one ever went down that one trail where the small park is now.
