so here it is. im hella sick of every thread turning into an argument. 

probably 2 out of 3 threads i read always turn out :2 or more people ranting, arguing, dissing, etc.,etc.

and as some of you may have noticed, a couple of these arguments have been involving me, (not cool i know) but man i tell ya, some of the kids on here are just here to fucking rant and argue i SWEAR.
they think they know everything.

 i thought this was an online community for all of us skiers to get along and help eachother with advice, info, buying/selling/trading gear.  not to sit around and bash one another and be all competitive, picking out LITTLE typos and mistakes/ misunderstandings and make them into problems like little kids, because your on the computer you of course can be as powerful as your words. so most kids do.

so if you wanna rant to make your self feel better, or smarter or more powerful or whatever, how about
we make a thread just for it? so its not cluttering up the rest of the threads. all you kids that think you know everything,

i know its a stupid thread. but im just sick of this. im not even a rude person but when i get on NS theres always some kid that just HATES me or for example in this link i provided, this kid will just not quit, and everyone thats reading the thread is %100 on his side and is just helping him DIS me. .i just hate it when stuff like this happens. i mean i didnt even want to get on anyones bad side, but after this thread, i obvoulsy am. and its just cuz they want me to be on their bad side. you know? like there ONLY here to get into scuffs and tiffs with people. for example look at this thread.

even after tellling this kid i didnt want to "start anything" and i admited that what i said was a little bit in the wrong, and i didnt mean to sound like i was bragging. Him, AND other kids CONTINUE to rant and diss on me for what i said. its like the whole forum against me. some kid comes into the thread at the end telling me that im a totall faggot now. i never ment to get on anyones nerves  at all but these kids just get so worked up about what i said. just read it. maybe youl agree with them too haha.

I also called you claimer in that thread - because that's exactly what you were doing.
It wouldn't matter who said that, they would get the same response. So you were asking for it.

I know you already said you didn't mean to come across in the way you did, but this isn't a sit for the shit - you will ALWAYS get shot down in flames.
The only time you would claim getting cheap gear is if you were selling it here and you were passing on the deal you got.

Seriously - read what you wrote again:

Not the end of the world mate, the kids giving you a hard time are probably 15 years old and i'm sure they will get over it. Just don't claim that you get cheap or free shit here - there are many many people on this website that get FAR better hookups than you do, and they don't feel the need to tell anybody about it. If you still want to claim it, then expect to be abused

the only reason i even said that is because i saw a thread the other day with tons of that shit, people saying how much they paid for stuff and actually said the word "claim" right after. so sorry for miss-conceiving that you could do that on here. 

then the only reason i got sarcastic from there is because the one guy was obviously getting very testy like  he was the one asking for it. i know i need to pick my battles a little bit more maturely next time, but fuck man, you guys can get rude.

not in the thread i was reading haha, it must have been a "claim thread" but whatever. it shouldnt have been that big of a deal, kids don't need to read a thread, and just because they see someone being bashed on, they join in with the LOLs and the GTFOs and calling someone a faggot is pretty much the stupidest thing you could ever say to someone, that kid was definitly 15.

If people are obviously joking, then it is different.

Honestly I don't give a flying fuck about this, i'm just trying to give you information because you got pissed off about being grilled.

There is a difference between someone going "OMG i'm so stoked that I got a crazy hookup from K2 - what an awesome company etc, I got to meet all these amazing pro skiers etc etc..."

and then there is something along the lines of what you effectively said:

"I can't believe you guys pay full price for skis, you suck, I don't pay for shit, you guys just need to shred harder"

The amount of people who cop flow/proform/shopform/free gear on this site would be well into the hundreds. So it's not something that gives you bragging rights.

As for people jumping on the bandwagon and bashing on someone in a thread..well yeah this is NS.com - it is full of prepubescent teenagers that act like sheep.

Get over it man, everyone is here to enjoy the sport and have fun, heaps of kids save all year to afford a pair of skis and when someone comes along who appears to be one of those people that has an attitude and rubs in that they get hookups, then obviously it isn't received that well.

 so far ive got such a bad impression of this site and the kids that are on here all the time, makes me want to delete my peofile and forget it ever existed. anyone know if that TGR site is a little more mature? i havent thought about making an account on there, but then again if theres just as many ranters and people who know everything, im not goin there either.

this site has become more than a skiing community, theres more competition than friendship on here. its rediculous, every thread theres someone either cussin someone out with the most interesting harsh words they can think of, or else theres a big argument going on. im sure ive already said that enough.
does no one slightly agree with me?

Majority of the members here are fine and it is an enormous community, but like any society, there will always be assholes or people that like to cause shit.

Best thing you can do is think to yourself: will what i'm about to post contribute to the thread in a good way? If no, then you could get flamed, just like plenty of the other members do. If it does contribute, then you get duly respected
