#1. The Wire. Without a doubt, no questions asked it is by far the best show ever put on television. It is the most well written, serious yet entertaining comment on society that has ever been produced.

The Sopranos.  Because its sick as fuck.  Seriously if you haven't seen it yet you need to.  You can watch it free online @ http://www.watchtvsitcoms.com/sopranos.php


Eastbound and Down, Entourage, Flight of the Conchords, and Band of Brothers are also great and I haven't seen The Wire yet but I heard its really good.
