Silent rock

i'm pretty new here at newschoolers but anyone that skis hood knows about silent rock and i've never seen a post about it. for those that dont know silent rock is on the way to timberline/meadows and there are mixed feelings about it but when you pass it most people dont ever say a word or else you get bad ju ju magic and have something go wrong on the slopes. i personally am dead quiet by it. post your thoughts...and i was also wondering for those that have been to windells if the coaches are religious about silent rock or just dont care

i know a kid who is super good and on the way up one day, accedentaly talked through silent rocks and snapped his leg. he did the same thing the next season and got the same result.

so many stories on why you have to be silent. I dont know who started it but i have been doing it since i have been born and my dad did it his whole life. It seems to be true. Every kid i know who has talked through it has either gotten hurt or lost something.

yea at windells when we are going up on the buses to hood everyone is dead silent on the way. Except for some little faggot kids who think they are the shit and are too good for that. Theyre usually snowboarders though anyway

forgot to turn the radio off and we got run completely off the road by a RV almost immediately after passing through

know a kid who didnt stop talking and he broke his arm

i haerd that a HCSC van was blaring music while they drove through, and on the way back from thye mountain the brakes went out and they had to use the runaway truck ramp...

theres like 2,000 bazillion stories haha

respect the rock for realz tho

best example of why you should always be silent at silent rock. Last 4th of july me and my friends were going to skibowl for the firework show and on the way one of them did a little peep noise that is all and we all started saying he is screwed for the night. he ended up loosing is fusion season pass! and broke both his bindings and was done boarding at 10pm when we were planning to stay till 1 or 2am.

Give respect silent rock does crazy shit!.

i went to windells last summer everyone was silent there and back radio turned off nobody made a noise one day on the way up some kid talked and then broke his leg that day

The driver of the car I was in ripped a loud fart during silent rock. About 15min later a rock was kicked up from the truck in front of us. It nailed the front windshield leaving a huge crack.

i know this guy who knows this guy who's dog's owner babysits for this lady's kid you sneezing going through silent rock and 3 minutes later an axe murder jumped through the sunroof and killed him.

true story yup uh huh! i heard it from the kid's best friend's step sister herself!
