i like my haircutter lady. ive learned i have to be very specific though..she likes to cut a lot off when i am not specific. i think you saying you wanted to 'polish up your hair a bit' could have very different meanings to haircutter ladies......so next time you should be very specific. but for now...i hope your hair grows fast :)

I had my friend shave my hair with dog clippers one time and it turned out alright, little choppy in spots. I stopped going to a haircut place tho, and started going to a 'stylist haircut place' and they do a better job, but make me feel like a girl.

The barber place I go to has about 5 barbers, hockey on the TV, and they NEVER fuck up. I Think it's because they're all like 50-60. They've been doing it for decades.

I haven't had a 'haircut' in close to 5 years. I got it cut short like 5 years ago then grew it really long and then got dreads, then this fall I cut those off but that wouldn't count as a cut it was my friend cutting like a bastard with house scissors. And now I have a mullet.

i was spicific enough, i said leave the hair to the bottom of the ear, then two cuts later i was like what are you doing?! thats way to far up! and she was all like ' well i have to cut it all that lenght now' so i look like a penis... im never cutting my hair again

happens to me too. I started going to this one guy because he actually does it how i want but before i was like 'cut like a half an inch off' and the guy took off 3 inches. I was bald.

Dont go to cheap ass mall hair salons, get ur hair cut at a spa or professional studio, they do that shit right and treat you well too. I went to this place in SF and they had me change into a robe before i got my haircut so i wouldnt get it on my clothes. Now thats hot.

OMFG!!!!!!!!!! i did the same thing a couple months ago, went in and asked them to make the back a little shorter and trim the edges to look nice. the fuckers cut the whole damn thing off almost. then the first thing my friend says when he sees me is 'you look like jim carey from dumb and dumber'

I hate getting my hair cut period the last time i cut my hair was christmas and the only reason I did that is because my dad said I look like a oh shit how did he put it I think he said I look like a scum bag or something that was like that I only asked the lady to cut just to cut little bit off but then it came out extremly short grrrr haircuts suck ass

My barber is pretty cool. I only go every few months really, but he does whatever I ask and makes it look really good. The place is owned and operated by two guys in their 50s and they are really well read and interesting.

i cut most of my friends hair, then one of my guy friends didnt trust me and went to a hair dresser..... the lady gave him a god damn mullet!!!!!! he was so pissed. needless to say he promised next time i could cut his hair because now he realizes that only friends know exactly what other friends want.... or what looks good

the past few summers i have shaven my head pretty low with a trimmer or whatever you call them, and after i go back to school, i just let my hair go and wait til the summer to cut it all off. i like the way it looks the whole time, and in the summer its nice and cool, and in the winter its warm. plus, it feels cool to have long hair and then bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz its all gone.

ive been going to same barber since i was like 6. shes awesome she cuts off a little at a time to make sure she doesnt cut too much. usually the whole haircut lasts like 45 mins. shes awesome :)
