Full Tilt Shim question

Alright so when i wear my full tilts, they feel like they're too forward. At the moment they have the smallest shim in. Is it okay to wear them without any shim?

hint: since you have to take out the screws and stuff, check them whenever you go riding.
They do have a history of coming out.

you could also just click into your skis and lean way forward and have a friend slide them out.

just pull out the liner and push the boot forward and pull it out. i took the shim out of my hot doggers and they were much better.

I have all the shims out AND removed that rubber section at the back of the cuff up top.  helps a ton.

The cheaper models have a rivet, the hotdoggers and other top end ones have a screw and tnut.
