Mad kids in Tahoe from the East

Whatup...just a little knowledge for anyone else thinkin' about moving x-country and re-locating to Tahoe.
First off the saying goes "you come out for the winters, but stay for the summers." This is true. Tahoe is absolutely ridiculous in the winter with powder and parks but the Lake, mtn biking, hiking and climbing are crazy fun too.
Anyway I just thought since I was from the east originally I would let anyone thinking about making a move know that next winter will be even better...
Squaw Valley has season passes for $369. This is nuts because they're usually like $18-1900!
Cheers

Cost of living isn't that bad. It's mostly gas and some utilities that are more expensive than the east coast. Helps finding some chill roommates. I spend 550 a month and that includes rent utilities and food. I have friends though that pay as little as $250/month on rent though (if you want to live with 6 people). I am from Maine originally.
