Replying to How would legalizing pot happen?

I know almost everyone on this site is for legalizing marijuana, whether you smoke it or not. and we've all seen the arguements for an against, and it really shouldnt be a question that it should be legalzing

but heres what i was thinging. How?

Right now, it is only legalized under medical purposes in some states, some states have also decriminalized it.

so if it were to be completely legal, would it just be medical? so its like percription drugs then, its illegal to have (sevarity depending on the drug). would it be legal for recreational use? if so, they drug companies may not be able to profit off of it as much then, which is one of the main reasons for it. how about age? 18 like tobacco? 21 like alcohol? can people grow their own?

i completely agree that it should be legal, but how? i cant figure out a way that we all benifit and so does the government (which would be the main reason for them to legalize is for their benifit). lets here your plans
