Replying to Another "what ski?!?!?!" thread?
So i just got a job at a ski shop. I basically have access to any ski i want for direct price from the vendor. like the skis you buy for 600 dollars, i canget them for like $200, which is awesome
so the skis that i have, i like, but i was on a serious price limit when i got them. so now that i have the option to get what ever i want, i think i should jump on it.
so heres what I was skiing on. 172cm, 84 waist fairly stiff symmetrical twin tip. I had them mounted about -2 from true center, where they should be mounted. i skied maybe 15% park or less, and the rest was all mountain charging and carving and what ever backcountry i could find. I SKI THE EAST COAST.
So heres what im looking for.
I need something that can hold up at high speeds, something that can carve, and something that will ski everything.
I want Twin Tips
I'm looking for something a little bigger, maybe high 170s, low 180s. bigger waist, at least low 90s, but nothing higher than maybe 105?
Im skiing on the east coast. so im going to be skiing lots of ice, hardpack, slush, and what ever else the east coast throws at me. This winter i happened to be skiing when it snowed about 1.5 feet. my skis didnt handle it well...
So i wanna be able to throw down in the park a little bit, but im not super worried about that. i really want to be able to ski everything.
thanks for your help.
