outside the park?  Carving on groomers and just jibbin' around etc..It seems like some think they are useless outside of the park, while some think they are great. tia

They aren't very good on anything technical, but an awesome time in the park and on groomers.

They are useless outside of the park, unless all you do is hit BC booters.

yeah i had disorderlys this year and theyre awesome in side the park. fine for groomers too. i imagine they might be skecth in the bc but i have no bc around me so i couldnt tell u

anthems are great anywhere unless theres more than a foot on the ground. groomers woods etc all fun.

That is straight BS.  If by great you mean they work, yes.  But no soft, center mounted, park skis are "great" in pow and technical lines.  My TNKs are the stiffest park ski I've been on and they have a 90mm waist.  They still suck in pow because they are centered and get thrown around when you charge a pow line.  It's fun to try, but they just aren't designed for it.

^^ i thought it was clear in my response but ill make it more clear.
ANTHEMS are great for anything but pow, they handle a little bit of soft snow ok (like i said under a foot maybe more like 6in or less) but as soon as it a little deeper, your day turns to shit, constantly fighting to stay up. 

and btw it is doable, i did knee deep on my anthems, it just isnt preferable.

not really there ok not as good as a regular ski it doesnt pay to have symetrical ski unless u ski park 100% of the time or have a symetrical fat pow jib ski or watever buy another ski like watchlifes or chronics plus half the people who ski in the park cant make a proper turn and ski like shit

I rode my invaders all over last season. I live in BC so I rode lots of different conditions. Park, groomers, and even snow was great. They sucked huge in heavy snow, trees, bumps, crud, and deep pow. Those days kinda weren't as much fun... On groomers and park they can't be beat though.

They should be just as, if not more, legit than my invaders. Invaders are more fun than my old PE's mounted way back, and just a little less fun than my Bacons, mounted at 3 back from true. Anthems would be between invaders and bacons I think. More stable than invaders but softer than bacons. This would equal one hell of a ride I think.

No they really don't slay groomers.

As far as NS goes they are all fine on groomers because no-body is seriously trying to carve or ski proficiently, you'll get around the groomers fine and it will be fun but you cant compare a centre mounted park ski to something like a carving ski where you can lay down proper turns with a much smaller radius.

compared to say... solly foils NOT mounted center. they shred groomers, sure they arent a race ski, but not bad.

you can make short turns on anthems, they're really fun on groomers, feels different at first cause of the symmetry but def fun.

they aren't so good for hard fast turns, they tend to wash out a bit.

off piste is fine until you get into really steep stuff, then you wish there was a little more ski out infront of you.

all in all anthems are a sick ski, thats just my experience though. I've got scratch bcs for this coming season for bigger stuff

^^^ you can haul on groomers with some sweet turns if your paying attention.  if your tired or gettin lazy then its not a good idea because if you stop paying attention the skiis can get a little bit of the wiggles on ya

and i actually prefer these over my fugatives i had before overall

and like i said, i was very surprised at how good these are in woods too, i figured switching to a park ski id have to work hard in the woods, but no, feels just the same.

tryin to charge through bigger bumps is hard though, doable but takes lots of effort, cause they start to bounce around a litle, but become very doable if you slow it down just a little

and if you get this ski definitly consider adding a powder ski to the collection too, because these things suck in powder.

so im geussing the only reason the a lot of pros center munt their hellbents and such is because of the rocker? it still seems like it would be harder cuz your body is pushed froward but yey i see petit killin it on massive centered bents

i don't have symmetrical skis but TMs mount at dead center and i can still ski them fine outside of the park in everything but powder.

i dont know what your talking about but my invaders can carve up a groomer pretty damn well as long as its not ice because i have round edges from rais. but if i sharpened them up they could probibly turn like a GS ski. yes they are softer than a race ski which can cause a loss of performance at speeds but as  long as your not going 50mph down a hill they work great. but as for anything other than groomer and park invaders suck.

Thanks for the input guys....  As long as they are good on the groom, I'm fine with it.  I have powder/all mountain skis for all the other stuff...

i skied my friends invaders centermounted on a powder day one time, they are not good but like any ski you can get them too work.

super fun on groomers and park and skiing switch is just as easy as forward IMO

havent skiid them but my understanding is that theyre quite a bit stiffer, so they would hold very well on grommers
