i thinks its extremely dumb and unnecesary.  i dont understand why anyone would buy an ipod shuffle in the first place.

i bought one for skiing and i love it, it's light, easy to use, holds enough music, and i'm never worried about it breaking or getting stolen

same. i got the clippy one, all i need are some better headphones than my $10 philip over the ear for skiing

damn straight, and my big issue with the new one, is that if the buttons are like that on the ipod touch, gloves wont work with it
