Need help with binding repair (marker griffon)

so i was doing a hippie killer on a rail and came off the end of the rail with my other leg behind me.

i ejected and the leg behind me, the edge must have caught under the sliding peice behind the toe peice and it popped off. i recovered the peice and a very small spring and placed them in my pocket. wondering whats required for repair.

there may have been more pants but i didnt see any visible in the snow. it was heavy slush so it was messy.

it was at smuggs after the first box so if anyone sees any parts there ( i also left my hat in the lodge if anyone wants it! )

This is the 5th or 6th time I've heard of those just popping off on Griffons/Jesters.  I'm sure someone has an answer, seems like a common gripe.

yea, well i literally caught the edge of the ski under it. hopefully someone will know. thanks guys.

You should be able to snap the sliding AFD back into place, although you should have two springs (one on either side of AFD) to provide spring return in both directions. Providing you didn't actually crack the plastic.  I don't have any specific experience with the Griffon ones.

It may be easier to just buy a complete replacement AFD and replace the unit as a whole. Your Marker dealer should have some. Hope this helps somewhat.

the plastic under the AFD is cracked as well. i bought them about a month or two ago. they cant really " fix it " i dont think without removing the binding from the ski, which would fuck up my ski mount because i dont want it re-mounted in the same hole... oh boy...

Yeah I think your best bet would be to go for warranty if possible, that isn't really fixable.

Try the warranty route, it may be hit or miss though.
