150 inches in 2 weeks you say?!?!

Yep its true - UTAH has gotten 150 inches in the past two week storm cycle.  Today was some of the lightest fluff Ihave ever skied.  It was so deep You couldn't see for extended periods.  I had to call it quits at 12:30 today cuz im simply out of gas.

I've never choked on snow consistently for 6-10 turns in a row.  Today was so deep you couldn't see anything at times and just had to stop.  Fuck ya Utah.  I really wish I had a snorkel for tomorrow.

i could agree with that!!
and my last day riding my home mountain was Febuary 28 they stayed open till like the first day of march!!
my last day was march 16 in new york.
i gotta say to not ski the east! and ski the west. like 100 times better
so jealouse

Hmmm Im here just in time- should have brought the skis and not the bike. Well i guess I thought it must be full on summer out here, based on our weather. Oh well a little snow on my singletrack cant hold me back. Should have brought the skis though..

i drove back home east right before this cycle rolled up. when i was here i got caught using a friends pass and was forced to buy a $350 pass, depleting all funds necessary to make it back to utah. now im stuck working construction during the week and weekend warrioring at loon in the rain while all of my friends back in utah are skiing the best snow of their lives.

to top everything off my dad borrowed MY beacon to go out there this past week, and the jerk has been picture messaging me and calling me every day making fun of me. fml.

just learned to do a front flip and landing in this snow was amazing, in places it was wait deep and im 6'7". Can't wait to do it again tomorrow

aw man i just spent 3 months skiing 6 days a week and its snowed 114 inches the whole season, 2 pow days :( and both less than 20 cm, so jealous

ok , UTAH did not get 150 inches in 2 weeks

UPPER LITTLE COTTONWOOD CANYON "alta/bird" got 165 inches
big cottonwood had around 125
park city resorts didnt even break 100 in the same span

and yea the end of the 50 inch storm (today) in the past 48 hours was the best skiing most people have ever seen.
