Is it still snowing anywhere?

i was wondering where or if it is still snowing anywhere? i just got home from powder mountain Utah, and skied waste deep face shots all night, and it's still coming down, so is this happening any where else ?

Didn't know PM had night skiing. Yeah, here in Summit County we should get some stuff, about 10 inches or so, not quite Utah, but its good for here.

we have got like 28 inches in the last two or three days here in kalispell montana i woke up to like 4-5 inches at my house this morning gunna but this is the last weekend big mountain is open but there will be plenty of spots to hike after it closes

In the past week we've gotten 50cms, which really isnt that much but for this late in the season its a lot. But right now we have the most snow base we've had all season and the hill's closing next weekend, FUCK!

sortve, because it costs a lot of money and takes a lot of effort to extend a preset closing date...people have already booked their trips and it's doubtful that many new people who are actually going to spend money would come if the resort stayed open later. here at vail we're closing in like 2 weeks, and we'll probably close with over a 100 inch base, but if we stayed open later the only people coming here would be EPIC pass holders, and the resort would probably lose a lot of money.

so youre half right, but it's not really the lack of interest part.

I find it quite funny how all the western resorts are getting hammered with sooo much snow but many of them are closing soon,  and we had a god awful snow year (12 feet), we have no population base (maybe 50,000 within a 2 hour drive), and we're still going to be open till the last weekend in April. I guess there is an advantage when the provincial gov. runs the resort and they don't mind running it in the red.

Here in Utah its different. All of the resorts with the exception of Snowbird lease their land from the NFS, and that lease runs out in Mid-April every year. Snowbird owns all of their land, so they can run lifts until July if they feel.
