Does anyone know the salomon rep for the NW area or how I might go about contacting him?

Had a ridiculous incident yesterday with my Z 12 Ti bindings... has anyone else had issues with these?

No shop is just going to give you a rep's number.  It doesnt work that way.

^ Exactly.

There are formal channels you have to follow for warranty.
Either take the bindings to the shop you got them at, or call Salomon in your country and they will take it from there.

The best way to do it, is via the store you purchased them at (if you did buy them at a store)

What happened anyway?

Sales reps have nothing to do with warranty.  There is a warranty guy at the company that deals with them.

2nd run of the day skiing backside at stevens pass, i fell (not even hard) and when i grabbed my ski to click back in, the heel piece was straight up gone hah hella gay, so i had to ski to the base and then the frontside on one ski which is tough in pow

So your heelpiece ripped out of the ski?  If the WHOLE binding ripped out, it might have been the ski.  I had a core that was rotting and ripped my heelpiece out.  It could have been the ski.

The cheap solly heels are terrible.  The forward pressure plate twists and the whole heel breaks off.  Dont even bother with the z12.  Thats why the sth12-16 exist now.

Ripouts are more often than not an issue with the mount or the ski, not the binding.

havnt had any probs with my STH14s on my seths yet, and i have hit everything on them.

like silence said, ripouts have very litttle to do with the binding...unless the hole pattern is to close togther that it does not allow for proper weight and pressure distribution, causing ripouts.

nah the actual heel plate itself did not rip out, the plate cracked and broke and the physical part that holds the heel of your boot in detached

did NOT have anything to do with the ski or the mounting! but thanks for the help

This is actually pretty common.  You need the oldstyle heel that is now used on the sth bindings.
