Buying rockered park skis for next season?

There are going to be many rockered park skis for next year.  Wondering who is picking up a pair.

 Iif you already own a pair is it really that much better?  I feel that they will be more playful but you will lose out on overall performace like speed, landing, and other rail tricks other than pressing.

I have moment reno rockers, and I love them so much. There's more wheelie factor if you land backseat, but you shouldn't land backseat anyways. I love them for park, not sketchy with rocker at all, just super fun and you shouldn't catch edges either.

I definitely don't lose out on speed on my alphas, but that might just be the race base talking. Honestly, they're a super fun ski to play around on. Pretty damn stiff, little less in the nose and tails. One of the funnest skis I've ever ridden.

i have taken my obsethes into the park a few times! nothing more fun than hitting jumps on them...

o wait..hitting cliffs on them at fernie! (/claim)

Rockered park skis are baller as FUCK...I used my brothers Alpha 1's for a couple days when my skis broke and it was one of the funnest skis ive ridden in the park.

My Reno Rockers are amazingly fun! They're a blast all over the mountain, but they shine in the park. They're not for everyone, so maybe demo a pair before buying?

theres no point what so ever to getting rockered skis unless you have the possibility of riding pow and want more flotation without having to buy an other pair of skis. If you dont plan on being able to ride pow more than 10 times a season I would say its not worth it. Yah its fun to ski with bucause its playfull but when it realy comes down to it, you just loose landing control

i ride hellbents and sometimes take them into the park... sooooo fun, and i mean, hellbents are one of the biggest rockered skis, and they do just fine

Reno Rockers and Alphas are meant for park, personally I like rockered better. I've never felt out of control on mine when landing. Seriously, they're not that hard to ski, I think they're easier.

im curious to hear from some people who ride their rockered pow skis in the park on occasion. i normally ride the high society freeride in the 179 which has about 92 underfoot kinda fat for a park ski but i really enjoy bigger skis in the park. id like to add a rockered ski to my quiver because i like to ski pow.
i know that a lot of this is sort of covered already but is there much of a difference between a park specific rockered ski and a pow specific (in the park). does the amount of rocker make a huge difference.

i fell like that didnt make much sense but any help is beneficial.

I ride my ON3P Caylors on occasion. They are way to big for park (191cm 147,121,144 with a bunch of rocker) They are fun but definitely limit what you can do in the park. In pow they absolutely kill it though! I think the Kung Fujas or Alpha series would probably be a good rockered park ski.

rocker is better for park, for sure. they butter better, pop more, you dont snag tip's and you can land big jumps just as easily. plus they are just way more fun to ride.

ive skiied hellbents, ep pro's bibby's jp's and all were amazing in the park, their width was the only thing holding me back since i couldnt spin as fast, but overall i liked them so much more, even on 50 + footers on ep's i liked them more, the ability to pop and butter better than anything, plus the overall surfey feel made them all so good! and all those skis were made for pow only, no park in mind, and they still performed better than park ski's. a 85-105 waist rockered park ski would be the best.

the kung fujas for next year will probably be perfect.
