i have a hill too and i dont use plywood under my turf, but i think it would help if i did. my problem is that my hill is mostly mulch and dirt, so by the end of the session it gets all muddy and mulchy and theres no speed. from what ive heard, plywood underneath helps a lot
yes, plywood helps. it makes the transitions smoother and gives it support as well as keeps the mud off of the turf. just use some scraps unless you want to go buy some, but it gets expensive real fast.
