Replying to Salomon Dumont or Line Invader for Beater Skis [read for more info]

Tonight I am either deciding [besides my chronics i just bought for next season] i want a ski to just mess around on and well i dont care how it looks [condition wise]

This is mostly for the days i am just hiking up rails or what not, but okay

Friend will sell me brand new invaders for around 100

or should i spend
150 for the soso condition dumonts with sth14s [cracked edge and 1.5" edge missing under foot]
that is the dumont in the B/S/T section and well never really rode something with cracked edges or edges that were missing and was wondering, can i take these off of everything [if i got dumonts they would be for jumps too more than rails] or would it just be worth it to pick up the invaders [just would have to throw some bindings frmo my other ski onto it]
