my grandmother had a really good friend when she was in elementary school in china. she came to america with my parents. around 10 years ago my parents made friends with some other chinese people. the other chinese family's mother was the friend that my grandmother went to school with. more than 60 or so years without contact, and they met up again

my dad once saw a really close family friend in the san francisco airport, completely coincidental

my dad once saw one of his buddies in an airport in japan, again completely coincidental

me and my bro and a few friends went to stratton in november and we parked right next to my bro's friend from syracuse, without knowing he was coming

i went to wachusett a few weeks ago and parked right next to 2 friends from my school, i had no idea they were coming

oh. and i got another, about birthdays

my brother's birthday is may 8, 1989. my friend's brother's birthday is may 8, 1989, the same exact day. my friend's birthday is april 2, 1992 (today). my birthday is april 3, 1992 (tomorrow!) we go to the same school and are pretty good buds

we were camping deep in the algonquin forest and my dad met someone that he knew. thought that was odd. the funny thing was he didnt even act like it was a big deal.

i also saw a freind at an airport over an hour away.

I saw this kid from my school when i was camping in upstate new york. I found it really funny cause i saw him jogging (he's a pretty fat kid who never does anything strenuous)

When I went to Thailand a few years ago we went to see a Muy Tai (?) fight and me and my cousin got picked to be the ring girls for the fight and one of the fighters was American and we were talking to him and it turns out he lived like 20 minutes away from me.

my birthday is march 28th, 93 and my friend eugene's is on the 29th, but he was born in russia, so with the whole time zone differrence we figure we pretty much have the same birthday.

I went to Cuba for my grade 12 grad trip and as I was wandering around the resort super hammed I ran into a friend of mine that moved away to a prvate school in middle school.  It was pretty wild I was like wtf jack. This is fuckin cuba!!! what are you doin here!!!

Over a soccer tournament last summer I split this kids head open and sent him (along with myself to the emergency room) This year at my first year in college, my next door neighbors in the dorms are really good friends with the kid still can't believe I'm the one who sent the kid to the hospital. And they are now some of my best friends.

Wow! me too! coincidence... probably

It always pisses me off though cause every time i think i feel it vibrate.. pull out my phone, see that there's no text, then literally 2 seconds after i put it back in my pocket it vibrates for real. happens at least once a day.

I moved to Mammoth and started seeing this guy.

Hes from SoCal, Im from Minnesota, but turns out my mom and his dad were highschool bio lab partners in Iowa.


I went to the Hard Rock in Times Square NYC, and my server lived 2 blocks away from me in LA.

I dated this guy in college. His ex girlfriend moved to Bemidji, MN where my best friend was going to college and they they started dating.

I meet this guy at this club and he tells me he is in a band. We go on a date. He is in a band but he is also one of the anthropology professors on the application committee for the grad-school I was about to apply to. I changed majors.

i was walking with my boss and coworker in times square at 2:30 a.m. over the summer. we had to go to JFK airport to pick up a kid and decided to get a bite to eat in the city before the flight landed. so again it's 2:30 am and we're walking and suddenly i feel a hand on my shoulder a voice go "don't move motherfucker" i turn around and its one of my best buddies from college haha

i saw one of my friends from the u of utah who was living in SLC at the time (after I stopped going to utah and was living in CT) at the Echo Project, which is a music festival in Atlanta, GA, it was crazy I saw him from a distance and was like no that couldnt be him, then I ran up to him and it was, I had no idea he was going to be at the festival either

Giray Dadali this one is for you....well he and I have a joke about the 80s and when the song what is love by haddaway plays on shuffle or on the radio which is not alot I always text him. Well one day I was on the way to my mountain and its about an hour away and in the middle of no where and to get there I have to drive in front of his house. Well just before I was going to pass his house what is love came on the radio and it was possibly the greatest and most random coincidence I have ever had in my 17 years of living!

One time I was on a ski trip at Cranmore staying in some skiers hotel. Then I saw some kid from my basketball team who doesn't ski. It was weird because I live like 2 hours from Cranmore, and I was in a skiers hotel and spotted the kid.

My dad (he's from the Holland) went to Holland for my grandma's funeral, and in a bus he met up with one of his best friends from high school. I thought it was pretty weird.

in fifth grade i got hit by a car and it was pretty serious. five days in the hospital broken jaw, fractured skull, brain fluid leaking out my ear, all that fun shit. well over winter break im messing around, sledding down the snowbanks in the parking lot of the vets office right next to my house when one of the ladies that works there comes out and asks if she can try. i so sure and she goes down a few times and goes back in and i leave. as im walking away she runs back out and stops me and asks if ive ever been hit by a car. i say yes and asked her if she had heard about it. i will never forget what she says next. she says no, i was the one that held you in my arms untill the ambulance came....

today i randomly saw a friend from anchorage who is now living in SLC too, i didnt know he moved down here.

once we went to a border town in mexico and in the ghetto ass leather bag shop we ran into the people who lived on the property next to ours in canada. we were from alaska and they were living in washington where my dad grew up. he recognized them from when he was younger and went to the canada property in the summers.
