It's actually one of the first promotions meant for the meat of the industry (not the mom and pops). If your mountains are closing across the US but you are not done, this is legit.
The last few years I have been back east working in the resort biz and always came out west at the end of the year to get away from the home mtn and shred somewhere new. We'll be open from the summit, spring passes are uber cheap, the parks will go till the end, volcanic soil means no mud season, there are chicks in this town (not sausagefest), great beer, golf, biking, everything. Get a spring pass and find a place to crash. The more who come the more fun for all. I would, but now I live here and get to invite folks.
Hell - make a stop at the west coast session too! Either way take a gander.
