Photo 'hocknoids' in photoshop

make a new image file and resize photo to fit.
I've never done it but I'd imagine that would work

any idea how to make a contact sheet?

i searched online and got this:

(Photoshop) Choose File > Automate > Contact Sheet II.

(Bridge) Select a folder of images or specific image files. From the Bridge menu, choose Tools > Photoshop > Contact Sheet II. Unless you select specific images, the contact sheet will include all the images currently displayed in Adobe Bridge. You can select a different image folder or select other currently open images after the Contact Sheet II dialog box opens.

you can make contact sheets straight out of windows explorer though just go to print and then choose a small size

k maybe ill try that. i need a plugin i guess for cs4 to make contact sheets which is real lame and im tryn to install that now.

there isnt a need for a plugin for contact sheets.. its under file>automate..

as for the David Hockney style of work.. just scale down the images and layer accordingly.. that is if you took separate images.. if you didnt.. just save a selection of a rectangle of the right size and copy paste to new layers to create the same effect..
