The way I understand this is; it's not supposed to be about who has the best edit, with the neatest angles of the tricks with popular music, or about who dances on the rails the best, or who flips upside down the most........
Be stoked for the kid who won. Seriously. I know you all want your friends to win. Hell I want to see my kid win but not so much to say that he or anyone else should have won. Steven (nipples) doesn't stand a chance for many reasons, he knows that, doesn't stop him from participating. Giving it to the kid who hasn't been anywhere or had a chance to excel would be reason enough IMO!
I respect Salomon for their choices and for all that they do with their support for the support of freeskiing. I think EVERYONE should be thankful that they are affording this opportunity.
People wonder why they don't see more support for comps and stuff. Imagine how Salomon feels readin this thread. Thanks for killing the spirit and taking the fun out and potentially killing this opportunity in the future. You people who posted negativity are hurting people who don't deserve it.
I am motivated now to create an edit of a little girl who just so cool, with a great attitude, who really wants to shred, who isn't afraid to ride with the boys, who hasn't really been anywhere like Mammoth, who is really deserving of being selected as an example. Its not my place to do that. But yeah.... Watch for it.
I think they simply dont care about the members vote.
they simply choose whoever they want to show up in mammoth. Wich is fine but I think having people is just a waste of time for everyone with the way the first 4 rounds have been won.
