It depends on the boot as to whether it is possible to put it under or over the plastic
Under is preferable though.
Next time use the advanced search function - there are plenty of threads on fitting boosters.

Might be a stupid point, but if you put the strap under the plastic, does that reduce the effect of the straps further down? I mean, does it stop you getting the clips as tight? Just wondering?

they always tell you to go under the plastic but i don't like it as much, i go under on my tecnicas and over on my scarpas
