Okay so there is this kid that goes to my school and he's a pretty wierd kid but I guess hes had a really hard life. he works at the mcdonalds in the center of my town and he doesn't have a car. So i guess last night him and his brother were walking home and he got hit by a car.... he always wears this big dark colored one piece worker suit thing so i guess the car couldn't see him... and he died last night. And the really bad part of this story is, today at my school they didn't even have a moment of silence or mention his passing or anything. nothing.

when i was in 8th grade my princapal died in a tragic acident we was cutting down some trees on his land and when he cut this one branch there was another branch on that one that fell on him and he got cut or something and was tring to get back to his truck and didnt make it and bleed to death it was so sad. i am a sophmore in high skool and i still remember him and we have pictures and benchs and everything in his rememberens. then 4 weeks before that happend a skool like 20 minutes away had a shooting. this kid shot the princapal and and he died. we had a silence and a memorial for him. then when i was in 5th grade my teacher died she got shot by her husband and that was bad to i dont remember that to much but it was bad. then 2 mouths ago a kid died going 145 around a turn in snow and rolded his car and hit a tree .... he dies that was from a town 5 minutes way from me . it was tarable rip to everyone that has passed away and has been mentioned in this thead

That really sucks for the family and that why you shouldn't wear black in the night time.

^ im sure he probably wasnt think about the color of probably his only jacket being a hazard on the road. i bet his mind was more focused on how shitty it probably was to have to walk home from work and hopefully not getting fucked with at school the next day or something. i feel for that kid.

yeah the truth was that was his only jacket and it was freezing out. he wore it everywhere, and walked home at night all the time. this one was just the wrong time.

to add to everything, my mom emailed the superintendant and she said that the principal handled everything fine.

A graduate from like 5 years ago at my school died in iraq a few months ago. We dedicated a memorial and a tree to him out in front of our shcool and the flag flew at half mass for like 2 weeks. Your principal should step up and do something like this.

At the bare minimum lower the flag, at my old hs the school constantly had the flag at half for basically anything.

that's fucking ridiculous a football kid died at my school last year (no disrespect to him) and they made it as big of a deal as possible and i bet if someone who wasn't involved with any sports wouldn't even be acknowledged

I was going to say some thing along those lines but chose not too. I think it all depends on how much of a public spotlight there is on the situatuion

That's seriously fucked. Goes your school have PTA meetings where parents can talk to the superintendants and stuff? You should go around to a bunch of people's parents and tell them what's up and get them to agree to go. If a ton of parents get involved too and go to the PTA they can't keep ignoring it. You should also talk to the family of the kid who passed away, RIP, and tell them what you are trying to do and see if they can help. I'm sure they would appreciate it.
