Anthems- what size?

Hey guys, i was wondering what size anthems i should get for next season. Im a small freshmen in high school about 5' 3" weigh about 100. I want to go big for 171s but something tells be i should go 161s. Any suggestions or opinions? Thanks alot

seeing that you're a freshman, it leeds me to believe that you're gonna grow soon. and since you're buying them now you'll want them to last you through next year

My opinion get the 161's, at your size 171 is unrealistic for this year or two. If you ski a lot the 161 will last you 1 or 2 season which at your size should work. If you don't ski often i would say maybe 171 only because then you don't have to upgrade again when you grow although for your size it might be a pain in the ass till you grow.

As for graphics, they are the same for each size so it have no effect.

just fyi you're approx. 160 cm tall @ 5'3".  anthems run 4cm longer than they say (i know, i own them).  that means 161 anthems would be about 5 cm above your head.  imo @ 161 you will have plenty of room to grow into the ski.

Don't be a wuss, go for the 171. My 5'1" 12 yr old brother uses a 160.

get 171 its a center mounted ski and it rides shorter
im 5'5 and ride 176 and love the size

if you weigh 100 pounds dont be stupid, get the 161. are you really going to progress in the park with a 93 underfoot ski thats over 10 cm taller than you?

161 man...and they are cheap skis..so if u grow a ton..just get a size up..word
