Summer anxiety

well my season ended yesterday and now i am in a horrible state of mind i just don't even see myself making it though the next 8 months anyone else get really depressed right after the seasons over?

buck up buckaroo, there are always summer sessions. Make some dough and head to Hood or Windells or COC. Either that or just do shit that reminds you of skiing. Go hiking, be with the mountains, ski a glacier near you or hike up and take advantage of the remaining snowpack (if there is one) if not, just enjoy the summer. It's not like winter is going to be gone forever, he will be back soon.

I get like that. mainly because i do not know what to do with myself once skiing is over, but once i start to get into the groove  of summer and get a summer set up up and running i start to get used to it.

I love skiing as much as the next NS'r, but growing up in Utah where we have 4 legit seasons, I can't fucking wait for Summer to roll around. Im sick of getting into my freezing ass car at 8 every morning and having to wait for it to warm up. Im sick of having to wear a coat/sweater/hoodie everyday. Im sick of wearing shoes.... There is so much to look forward to in the Summer its rediculous: hiking, camping, swimming, diving, boating, biking, skating, golf..... the list goes on. I say bring it on.

i know exactly what your talking about...mostly because of skiing but second because i live about 2 hours away from some good friends i only see when i ski and with lack of car or drivers license it makes it hard to hang out

Dude I fucked up my knee 6 weeks ago and it started dumping gobs of snow since then. No joke, March has been epic pow everyday basically and I cant go. I hope I can get one more day in during May if my knee heals quick.

hey, my season just ended and boy im feelin it. right before the season started, i was going crazy. i wanted to ski so bad it was just ridiculous. during the summer, i rollerblade. that helps a little bit, but its still awful waiting to ski in the summer when its 90 degrees out.

i can understand what you are saying, i only have two days left, and i wish that number was way higher. but you just gotta accept it thats life and find something to be stoked on for summer. (get another hobby, sport, JOB something. there are soooooooooooooooo many things to do in the summer. go for a camping trip, go for a bike ride, play golf, join a town sports team, get out there and have fun!

I went up to the hill 5 times this year went urban twice it sucked my season ended at the begining of the month and I have been depressed since but I found out 7 springs is having a spring park which got me super stoked again

build an urban set-up and ski that this summer, and now that your not skiing every weekend you can focus on women and other shit.

but ya my season ends in about 2 weeks but im gonna try and hike up and ski the remaining stuff once or twice before its gone though
