Parties in utah?

I'm going to University of Utah next year, and while I was applying for housing I noticed that they don't allow any alcohol anywhere on the campus, including fraternities. I'm not a big partier, but weed and booze are part of the college experience! For the people that go there, do you just party anyway? Or is the whole place just completely dry?

you should probably just go to colorado and chill with the other snow bros.   Utah is awesome if your the kind of person who doesnt need to ask the internet "ARE THERE PARTIES AT A LARGE UNIVERSITY" 

Is it the University of Wisconsin Madison?  Nope, but it is what you make of it.

Also how has no one mentioned the danger of those crazy straightedge kids here!    Man its too dangerous to smoke or drink here because those kids will beat your ass!   You ever heard of a salt lake slash??  LOOK OUT
