i have no doubt in my mind that there are people scamming the voting system and i only hope that superU checks IP addresses, etc. to see who keeps giving my video and others in the competition 1star ratings to bring them down...

it's one thing to tell people to go vote for your video, its another to vote other's down to gain an unfair avantage..shame.

pretty weak how my edit plays with flashes through the whole thing and more than half the people i talk to say the website wont let them vote no matter how many times they watch it....

it plays normally on our website though- steptproductions.com

there are a lot of things that are weak about this comp... my friends have had the same problems with the voting system as yours...
Furthermore, the levels people are sinking to in this competion is just depressing, I've been checking my video every morning to see the comments/ratings that i may or may not get and you have to deal with people making childish comments calling you a pussy, that has nothing to do with the video itself.  I know others have dealt with the exact same situations and it's just a shame that there is no sportsmanship in a video competition that revolves around skiing, which is the funnest thing to do on this earth.

I was wondering about that, at first I thought you added in the flashes because you were planing on using some footage for your video, and that was your watermark seal of sorts. I know its too late now, but could there have been a problem when uploading your video?

And yes Ive been getting hate comments as well, gotta love the aliases.

yep the hate comments are prime, they make me laugh. There are defiantly people scaming, but whatever I geuss thats how some people see winning a competition "fairly".
