what to do in mammoth?

ok, i will be in mammoth this thursday night with a bunch of friends, what is there to do? we are all 17-18 ish, and just want to have some fun.

Hey I hear at mammoth they have this thing called a ski slope, were you clamp on these pieces of wood to your feet and they give sticks to carry around and you slide down these big ass hills covered in snow and whats really cool is they have these chair thingies that are hanging on ropes or cables or something like that and it like brings you up the hill so you don't have to walk. I hear it's kind of expensive but well worth the fun, so when you get there ask around about it I'm sure somebody will know, for the life of me I can't think of the name of the place, hairy elephant or something.

why go skiing? its not worth the effort to put on all that shit and drive to the mountain. besides - the biggest jump is only 85 feet right now :( the park guys need to get there shit together

ok, so yes i am a chick, and i'm going to be arriving that night, so we cant ski, we have a nordic race the next day, so cant downhill then either, thats why i was asking for something to do at NIGHT.... trust me, i would love to go downhill, just wont work on this trip though...
