Twitter is a blogging website you blog on. You fallow people that you want to know or see whats happening. Like I have Jackson Hole for one of mine. They update it every morning, they say whats open as far of trails and what the weather is like. Its pretty cool.

lol gonna answer the question yourself?

its just a status update thing. you update during the day, max of 160 characters at a time I think. then people can subscribe to your feed and you can subscribe to others. this way you always know what people are up to.

Its kinda like microblogging if you will. and simplified following. its not really anything new, it just simplified the process. like you've always been able to follow peoples blogs through RSS feeds.

yea i agree. im really starting to get sick of facebook, idk about anyone else, but its getting too cheesy and gay. Some people are just such fags with their statuses. Im proud to never have used mine wooot.

ok, i went back on and used the site you said and that def helps out.  i found some people actually worth following now.
ive seen some people write directly to other people where it says @name (whatever their name is)  how do you do that?

Twitter was something i once thought very very dumb, but someone insisted i would like it, so i gave in. I love it now. It's basically a continuous feed of status updates. Except you choose whose status you want to see. It's much like the new facebook format, except facebook includes all the random people you are friends with but dont really give a shit about their lives. Twitter keeps you updated on funny things, and important events that are happening during the day, in real time! No matter how many of you say it is stupid, it is actually blowing up! So instead of sending someone a text "what are you up to?" or "guess what just happened to me" they already know by just looking at twitter.
