NCAA Ice Hockey tournament

Has anyone else been watching these games??? It's crazy!
So far:
Last night:
-Air Force upsets Michigan.
-Minnesota-Duluth comes back from 2 goals down, scoring with 40 seconds left and then again with 0.8 seconds left to tie it, then wins in OT.
Today:
-New Hampshire comes back from 2 goals down, tying the game with 0.1 seconds left, then wins in OT to upset North Dakota
-Bemidji State upsets Notre Dame
-Cornell wins with 15 seconds left over Northeastern
-Vermont wins in double OT over Air Force. The game winning goal goes through the net and play continues, then 6 minutes of game time later, they go back and review it for 10 minutes and call it a goal.
The UMD-Miami (OH) game is still going, and there's still 2 more games tomorrow before the Frozen Four next weekend.
Seriously, this is insane.

i actually saw part of the ohio st and bu game. the last part of it i saw was 6 mins to go in the 3rd and bu was up 6 to 3 and then ohio st pulled there goalie and then bu scored again. it seemed like bu was dominating and im assuming that bu won too

BU 8-3. And UMD lost to Miami 2-1. They couldn't pull off the 2 goal comeback two nights in a row.
I'm still in shock over the whole Vermont game though... I've been watching and playing hockey for 15 years and I've never seen anything quite that crazy.

that UVM game was insance. Supposidly, the game winning goal puck went THROUGH the net.

It did. Play continued, then 2 minutes later when play stopped, they went back and reviewed it and determined that it had gone in (and through) the net. Crazy way to win in double OT.

Because Bemidji is in a shitty conference, which they won. It's the same way all the shitty mid-major's get into the basketball tourney. Once Bemidji joins the WCHA, they're going to stop making the tournament every year.
Also, for the record, the Gophers are out because they lost to Michigan Tech in the last regular season series. We only had two conference wins all year, but one of them kept Minnesota out. Gotta love playing the spoiler!

Sorry for the double post, but whoever made that bet with you is a chump. BU was easily the best team in the nation this year. Although, after what happened to Notre Dame, you can't really rule anything out.

Bumping this for the BU-Miami national championship game going on right now. BU just scored two goals in the last minute with the goalie pulled to come back and tie it 3-3. It's going into OT now.

that's what i figured, but do a lot of people play field hockey in the stats? I know its big in the middle-east, India, and south America, but in Canada it's reserved for girls.

haha the only reason I said "ice hockey" in the title was because I was looking at the NCAA website while making the thread. Since field hockey is a NCAA sport too, they refer to it as "ice hockey." Just one of those things where you type what you're reading without thinking. I always refer to it as hockey in conversation.
First OT is almost halfway done. I'm really surprised BU didn't come out and win it quick, they had all the momentum after that comeback.
