FS: Turntable Binders

First up I got some Look Forza Pro's. DIN 5-13. FKS style binding, all metal contact points, black and orange and in pretty good shape. Only downfall, a slight fracture in the bend of one of the brakes so bending them out could be a little sketchy. I bought these on here a while back and paid $75 shipped. I haven't used them at all so I'm looking to get around that for them.

Next up I've got a pair of Rossi Scratch 140's. DIN 5-14  The dark purple and blue version, and in great shape. I bought them new when they came out a few years back, but have only used them about 25 days.  Perfect working order, only your average cosmetic damage. I have no real set price on these, just open to reasonable offers.

when bindings are just sitting and not being used, what DIN should they be at?

a very low setting to save the springs. If you leave your fks155 at 13 all the time, that 13 will start to get weaker and weaker. it is always a good idea to turn your dins down at the end of the season.

Just dont overdo it, I accidentally popped the spring out of one of my toe pieces on some P18s and that was a pain to get back in.

Its not too bad.  Ill take em apart at the start of each season and make sure they are all greased properly and ready to go.

The one I took apart accidentally wasn't mounted on a ski so put it back together with my bare hands, it sucked. It wouldnt be so bad if it was mounted to something like a ski that you could clamp down.

The biggest mistake I ever had was trying to push the heelpiece down on an unmounted ZR5 set to 12. My finger got stuck inbetween the heel piece and metal bottom of the lever. When I finally got it off I had torn all the skin off my finger.

Fucking shitty. The worst part is as your sitting there in pain trying to get the binding off your finger your thinking the whole time how dumb the decision to mess with the heel was in the first place without proper leverage. At least I was.

I think everyone who rides the turntables/pivots has done the hand/finger snapped in the heelpiece...it usually only takes once to learn that lesson though.

As far as turning the DINs down...that's more of a wives tale than reality (similar to the "two from the end" rule). The springs they use are DIN ISO standard, and are manufactured to hold very tight tolerances (within a given range) for the life of the binding, which is really almost indefinite. The FZs were made what...20 years ago, and are still on the list, therefore the springs have to deliver a consistent tension for that period of time.
Leaving them turned up during storage really doesn't effect that at all. You can still do it, won't hurt anthing to turn them down, but leaving them up isn't going to hurt anything either.
