End of the season dump

Tonight: Snow, mainly after 2am. Low around 30. Northeast wind between 10 and 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.

Sunday: Snow and sleet, becoming all snow after 11am. High near 36. Breezy, with a north wind between 15 and 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow and sleet accumulation of 4 to 6 inches possible.

could this mean boyne and nubs are still open? if so, how much longer?

This was Crystal Mountain's last weekend I believe.

Boyne Mountain had good spring skiing 3/21/09 and they looked like they could be open for a while longer.

Nubs Nob goes until April 5th I think it is.

Boyne Highlands today had 6 inches of wet heavy snow in the morning, temperatures dropped and the snow got a little better. But there was still boilerplate ice everywhere.

I would guess...next weekend will be the end of the season for the most part. The hill at Highlands today looked like shit in the spots with no fresh pow.

On one of the lifts at Boyne Highlands it said "Have a nice summer!" in the window.

I definitely am not going to Highlands ever...again though. Going to Nubs Nob from now on.
